Playslip of German Lotto consists of two playing fields. You need to choose any 6 numbers from 1 to 49 on the first one. On a second field, you need to mark one additional «Superzahl» number from 0 to 9. You can fill your ticket in by yourself or use a Quick Pick option, and program will fill your ticket in with random numbers.
Date, Time and Place of Lottery
German Lotto draws are held every week: on Wednesdays at 18:25 and on Saturdays at 19:25. Upcoming draw ticket sales close 3 hours before the broadcast. All bets, made after ticket sale close, are transferred to the next draw automatically.
You can participate German Lotto only being a legal adult.
Prizes and Odds of Winning
Minimum jackpot is 1 million Euros. To win the grand prize you need to guess all 6 regular numbers and 1 bonus Superzahl number. In case, if nobody managed to hit the jackpot, prize will be increased and transferred for the next draw. Such transfer can happen up to 13 times maximum. If during the 13th draw nobody wins the grand prize, its sum is divided among all other prize categories.
There are nine prize categories in German Lotto – from two regular and one additional numbers matched to jackpot. Prize fund of each category is calculated as percantage terms of the prize fund.

All monetary prizes of Lotto 6 aus 49 are valid only for 90 days, since the winning draw date. After this period expiration, you won't be able to withdraw your prize.
Lotto prize taxes
If you win German Lottery you will be glad to know that prizes are not taxable in Germany. However, it does not mean you won’t have to pay taxes in your country (you have to peculate it with lottery operator).
