Mini Lotto is a popular Polish mini-cost lottery, where you can win several hundreds of thousands zlotys. Lottery exists since October 2009. Although its backstory was started back to 1976, when the first test draw was held. Initially, draws were held only one time per month, then once a week, then three times a week and since 2014 they are held daily.
To participate you need to purchase a ticket and choose any 5 numbers out of 42. To get prize you need to have at least 3 numbers matched. Low cost of the ticket is one of the main advantages of the lottery. In Mini Lotto you can participate in several draws in a row. Lottery is held daily at 21:40 European time.
In Mini Lotto two-thirds of draws has winners in first category - the player guesses all 5 numbers of a winning combination. The maximum quantity of non-winning draws rarely exceeds 4 in a row. But if nobody won first category prize, its sum goes to other prize categories. So the premium budget significantly increases.
The biggest jackpot of Mini Lotto was hit by one participant in 2015 and exceeded 336 thousands zlotys. However, the size of the jackpot sometimes even reaches 400 thousands. In case of a large number of winners in 1st, 2nd and 3d categories, prize fund is divided among all winners.
