About SuperEnalotto

The history of popular Italian lottery “Super EnaLotto” dates back to the 1950s. Since then, it has gone through some changes and on December 3, 1997 the first draw took place in the modern format that persists to this day. Interesting that until the middle of 2009, the winning combination was chosen in different cities. The balls were removed from the lottery drum turns in Bari, Florence, Milan, Naples, Palermo and Rome. “Jolly,” the seventh ball was also was taken out in Florence. If any number dropped twice, it was re-taken.

Italian lottery is deservedly considered one of the largest in the world, because of the maximum jackpot that was once hit is 177.8 million euros. A syndicate of 70 participants purchased the prize-winning lottery ticket, and the fateful edition took place on 30 October 2010. The size of the second largest record award totaled 147.8 million euros. That time the jackpot went to one person. It was the largest prize in the history of the lottery SuperEnaLotto ever awarded to one winner.

SuperEnaLotto draws are held regularly three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Broadcasts begin in Rome, at 8:00 PM local time. However, if the draw of the day falls on a national holiday, then it is moved to a different day. To join the game, you need to buy a lottery ticket, but only if you are 18 years old. In each ticket there are two playing fields. Cross out any six numbers from 1 to 90. Also there is a special window for the paid additional option, “SuperStar.”

During the draw, six balls numbered from 1 to 90 are pulled out. If all six numbers match with those in your ticket, you become the owner of the jackpot! Then, another ball is removed, which is called the Jolly. It does not affect the jackpot but it greatly increases the size of the award if you guessed five numbers out of the winning combination.

SuperEnaLotto is the largest lottery in Italy, which quickly gained hundreds of thousands of fans. Its rules are very simple, and the ability to hit the jackpot is significant as the game attracts even beginners.
